How do I sign-up?
4.
What
are your eligibility requirements?
You need to be a Mental
Health Professional or Graduate Student in a mental health field
5.
Can I change my mind during sign-up and cancel?
Absolutely
- you can cancel
during sign-up and at any other point
Each email includes links
to Cancel - Submit - Unsubscribe - Update your Profile
6.
After I sign-up, what
emails should I expect from you?
Immediately after you register, you are sent an
email titled: "Response necessary to complete subscription".
You
must respond to this email
to confirm and complete your registration
After registration is confirmed, you receive an
email titled: Registered for CT eNotes™
7.
What is Opt-In registration?
Opt-In registration
requires you to respond to a confirmation email. This system protects
you from receiving unwanted emails and from anyone else trying to sign
you up without your knowledge
If you do not respond,
you will NOT have completed sign-up and you will NOT receive any CT eNotes™
Here is how it works:
Immediately after you sign-up, a confirmation email is sent to
the registered email address. You must click on the link provided or
reply to the email. This confirms your registration
The downside to this type of system is that
you will NOT be registered if you do NOT respond
to the confirmation email
8.
I signed up for CT
eNotes™ but haven't received any
confirmation mailing. Is this a
problem? What should I do?
Yes, it is a problem.
Here are three possibilities and solutions:
You never
received the confirmation email
It is possible that you entered an incorrect
email address. Go back to the sign-up form, re-enter your email and check over the
information you provided. If your email address is incorrect, cancel your sign-up and
start over.
You
received the confirmation email but did not
reply
If you do not confirm, you are automatically
removed from the CT eNotes™
registration. Go back and re-signup
You
confirmed your email address but did not receive your welcome letter
Your ISP
(Internet Service Provider such as Earthlink, AOL,
or your institution or organizations mail server)
may not
permit HTML mail or email that contains images. Go to Update Your Profile link (on the CT eNotes™ you received). Check that you want to receive text only
email
If
you still do not receive your welcome
letter, you may need to use an email address from a different ISP
Many institutional email providers (such as the NHS) do not permit
mailings like CT eNotes™. If you use a free service (e.g.
Gmail,
Hotmail,
Yahoo) you should have no difficulties. You need to go back and
sign up for CT eNotes™ and use this type of email address
9.
What is the
difference between HTML and text only emails?
HTML email is email that
contains pictures, graphics, and otherwise looks similar to a web page
Text only email is email
that contains only text. It omits any special highlights, colors,
pictures and graphics
Some ISP (Internet Service Provides) do not
permit HTML email.

often will you send me CT eNotes™?

Why do I have to verify my email
before making any changes to my CT eNotes™
subscription?

email address in our CT eNotes™
sign-up box to update their profile, they will be sent an
email requiring them to verify their email address.
