ABOUT US
The people behind the Digital Padesky Store are Christine A. Padesky, PhD and Kathleen A. Mooney, PhD.
In April 1983, they developed and founded The Center for Cognitive Therapy after Dr. Aaron T. Beck, MD (the founder of cognitive therapy) asked them to open a therapy and training center in Southern California. The Center was in Newport Beach from 1983-2000. In November 2000, they relocated to their present site in Huntington Beach.

In January 26, 1998, the Padesky.com website was launched. Through Padesky.com, they offer workshops, worldwide consultation, Pop Up CBT, CBT training through Digital Padesky Store, clinical corner which includes publications, interviews, clinical tools, CBT organizations, conferences & reading recommendations.
On September 29, 1999, the MindOverMood.com website was launched. It is specifically designed for the public and provides mental health education and resources which are consistent with evidence-based psychotherapy practices as taught in the bestselling CBT workbook Mind Over Mood.
COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY TRAINING PRODUCTS
In the summer of 1989, Padesky and Mooney began producing audio cassette and VHS videotape materials exclusively for mental health professionals and graduate students in mental health fields. Products were sold at workshops and through mail / fax orders. In April 2007 they issued audio CDs and video DVDs and on November 11, 2007, they launched their online store Cognitive Therapy Training on Disc.
Beginning in October 2020, all of their Cognitive Therapy Training products have been converted to digital versions and offered for easy download and rental on their Digital Padesky Store site in the form of MP3 audios and MP4 videos.
